What do you think would happen if you had a kayak coated with this?

They use a similar product in paddle board racing called on it pro. Claims up to 15% less drag. I've thought about appling it to a kayak but haven't yet

My wife works for a co. In Petaluma called Coval Molecular. Make the same stuff but with next to 0 VOC's. I'm going to be bringing my yak in soon. They've had a paper towel floating in a fish tank since Thursday and it hasn't absorbed any water yet.

Coval has a glass sealant which works great for iPads. Once it's sealed you can't scratch it even with a screw driver.

Basically $150 for a quart of application...yikes.
Wish it was cheaper.
I'd spray almost everything associated with my kayak.
I wonder how slippery the kayak would be?
I've handled an ice covered kayak before and it's a whole new ball game.

Rust-Oleum NeverWet. Looks like Home Depot caries them.

I'm not sure about spraying it on my clothes, except for rain gear.

Don't forget to apply some on the paddle blades and or your mirage blades.

Would love to use that stuff on my kayak seat and dry suit.
How cool would that look coming out of the water onto the beach with your bathing suit completely dry?
Oh the possibilities.
