Launch from Lupine whenever. Fish for whatever. Biggest zombie trout award. Sail around the island. Shore lunch at 1PM. Weather and wind permitting. Sound good? Non sailors welcome too. :smt006

Talked to a ranger on Tuesday & no camping at Lupine or any of the west side spots yet. No trout either but things should be popping by 3/16. Right now it's day-use only from 7am to 5pm with slow action.

Yes there is a campground there $30-$35 for an RV. No water, electricity or flush toilets but the lady who runs it is nice and only $7 for day use boat launch.

Scott, is that Lupine you're talking about? The ranger said no camping & the phone # is disconnected. I'm not 100% sure though cause I didn't launch from there. I hope something opens soon cause I wanna go camping at Berry.

I think I heard there is only one campground at the lake right now. Lupine is closed for camping now. Only day use.

Fished the tin can there Saturday 3-9-13 and found a decent senko bite in the backs of coves at 25 ft deep. Could not get a bite trolling  from top to 50 ft down.

Lite winds 10-12 mph with gusts to 23 mph just right for trout trolling :smt003.
