I am looking for a T13 and saw one from Adventure Sports that is a second. Have any of you bought a second from them? Just wondering if you had any problems with seconds and seeing of there was any hassle picking it up from the airport.

I was looking on here for a few months in the classified section but it is difficult to move quick enough to pick one up.

Dustin/ Rockhopper has a nice used one for sale on classifieds here. With sonar, seat and paddle I think.

That's a good deal on Dustin's. if you buy from Aventure I would suggest driving up to get it. They will deal. As far as the airport, no idea about that.

I was going to buy if from Dustin but I already had a fish finder. It is for my wife and I want to get her something a bit newer. I knew she would not be happy with the color either.

A.S. has the T13 for $899, the used ones in the classified section seem to go for $700. Only a couple of hun more...

not sure if you will be able to tell the difference on the "newness" factor than a slightly used kayak.  but if you want to know about the seconds, call them. they'll tell you the condition of the "seconds"

Seconds are often times cleared out by the Ocean Kayak factory or local sales rep through a specific dealer.  In the case of Ocean Kayak, seconds should be considered as cosmetic blems.  There is nothing structurally wrong with them, and in many cases you may not even notice the issue as it may be as slight as a slight rough patch, sticker offset, or paint blend not quite right.  Personally I wouldn't hesitate to buy an Ocean Kayak second, and have owned a few over the years (we used to sometimes get them as Pro Staff to help clear inventory).

I second the motion to buy a seconds yak.  The only thing that I can see as an "issue" is resale price since it will most likely be stamped "blem" or "demo".  Though there is generally nothing wrong but a cosmetic blem as PolePole stated, some buyes are wary that it is "defective".  The new Hobie AI that I bought is a "demo" and I have yet to really find what the cosmetic issue is.  I'd go look at it with CASH in hand; not plastic, not a check.

You got to have a quick trigger finger to beat out Sonny/sailfish on deals here.  Good luck on your search for ride.

It needs to be yellow or sunrise, gotta have high visibility since we will be in the ocean most of the time. If anyone has one they want to sell let me know. I have a couple of PM's I have to check.

Thanks fellas!

Seconds or used anything from OK is probably a good bet. Buy from a person or reseller you trust, visually inspect it, and you should be good to go.

They should be able to move those Factory Seconds for waayy cheaper than those prices! I think I paid 600 for a T13 seconds. And I recall seeing a lot of similarly-priced deals too. For those prices listed, you s/b able to find a new unblemished yak with paddle.

I have not seen a T13 anywhere in that price range. If you remember where you saw it let me know. Brand new they seem to be around $1k. Seconds around $800, used around $600.

TenCrabs,
There are still some of these available.  They are not used, they have shelf ware from being stored and moved around while in storage at O.K. factory.  They are cosmetic blem with the 3 year warranty.  If you are still looking just give us a call or swing by the shop.
