Hi Allen & all you NorCal Folks
Just joined your site. Hennie & I are very much looking forward to seeing you down here in April.Am hoping to get up to anew spot we have found next week and have a crack for some roosters. It looks as though this area has little local pressure on it so hopefully we can get some good pics to wet your appetite. We'll be shooting for 70lbs plus.I have seen them round 90lbs from a boat a little further up the coast.

Welcome Tim.

Oops.  Cat out of bag.   :smt003

Yup, it looks like scallen and I will be heading down to Panama in April to check out some exciting new kayak fishing options being offered by paddlepanama.com.  Inshore fishing, targeting giant roosters and cuberas.  And if the stars align, hopefully we can get on some yellowfin, right Tim?   :smt002

I know it is relatively short notice, but if anyone has an interest in going on this trip, let me know and I'll hook you up with the guys from Panama Paddle for more details.  Price is in the $2k-ish range for the actual trip (varies a little depending on number of clients, and some other details being hashed out still) and the trip dates are April 15-19.  I'll let Hennie and Tim fill you in on the exact details as they are the ones running the trip.  You would plan to fly into Panama City on the 14th and out on the 20th and would be responsible for your own room in Panama City for the first and last nights.

scallen and I would be writing some feature articles on this trip.

Who ever goes will, no doubt, have a blast and catch LOTS of fish. I have fished Cosat Rica twice. Where we were was only 20 miles from Panama, and the further you go the better. In the last few years many Americans and Europeans are moving to Panama over Costa Rica. Good luck and can't wait to see and read report!!!!
