If they're still available it would be easy to replace. It really isn't much of an issue. You can search the site and find dozens of different ways that people store their batteries.

These Lock N Lock tupperware boxes fit perfectly inside the OK battery bag in case the zipper is broken/jammed (although you don't even need to put the battery in that bag...can just have it inside this box strapped down in the hull). And they only cost like $5!

Drill a hole and install a grommet, and bam! Waterproof battery box.

Sorry for the threadjack brother! This is a killer yak in pristine condition with hella mojo. And a great price too.

No worries for the threadjack, Pat. Since Craig's 4.3 was a little small for me and Fish Sticks sold his 4.7, I'm actually in no hurry at all to sell my T13.

Is this boat still available?  If so, how old is the FF and do you have that instruction manual?  I'm an idiot with electronics.
Thanks

Hi Jack. Yes, it is still available...and like Pat has pointed out, just about any instruction manual can be found on line!

Thanks for the info...so, I'd like your opinion, I'm trying to get my wife into ocean kayaking (to start) and I wonder if this would be a good first boat for her or if she should start with something shorter.  She's only kayaked rivers and lakes, 5'7", 135#, she's a strong swimmer, and she wouldn't be launching by herself.  I thinks she needs to man up, what do you think? :smt002

This is the perfect ocean beginners boat for your wife, its very stable and paddles well.   Anything shorter and she would have a tough time paddling and might not enjoy the experience.  This is the only boat she will ever need.  Good for you trying to get her otw!

I agree with MBP. My GF is like 5'5" and 120lbs and she had no problems paddling or maneuvering the T13.

I've pretty much only paddled ok kayaks, but as far as ok yaks for your wife I'd recommend the T13, Ultra 4.3, or even the Caper.
