Push your comfort zone as far as your comfortable with... Dark launch isn't so bad... Fun and mysterious... 10 ft seas in the dark is well past my comfort zone... But... tourney day, I might just go for it too...

I plan to be at the lake around 5:30 on Friday.  Unless traffic slows me down.

It is going to be interesting launching in the dark at 6:00 for the tourney.

done it tons of times surfing, but never in a kayak.

I've often came back in fishing all day during the tournament with my headlight still on my head!   I love the smell of ocean before dawn, I smells like victory!    Just trying unsuccessfully to put an Apocalypse Now reference.

First Place this weekend is that Powell bass rod with a Revo SX on it (spooled up already) and a Stick Jacket to protect it.  I'm starting to think I should fish this one

I will be cooking ribs for Saturday night. I went a got a keg of Loomis Basin Brewery's "Big Boy" a 8.2% super charged ale.

Should be at the lake between 12 & 1 if out OTW i will be on 69. So excited to do some fishing and chilling.

Because no one liked the mashed potatoes I brought to other events, I'm bringing some spiced chicken italian rice (good and warm) lots of it!!! Good side dish for the ribs and teriyaki... Can't wait till 5pm to get on the road!!!!!

I love mashed potatoes.  Potatoes are the best vegetable ever created.  But I'll still try your spiced chicken Italian rice.

I'm in the process of finishing up Venison Lasagna. I think I'm gonna fill up a gallon jar with my plum wine and bring it along too. It's only 3/4's of a year old but it's already very drinkable.

This will be my first NCKA pot-luck type deal and it is sounding pretty awesome. If I remember correctly, I believe codzilla said a little something about pulled pork baked beans too?

I have a ton of farm eggs. I can bring down probably 8 dozen. If anyone wants a dozen or two, let me know and I well bring them. I'm leaving at 4pm today though. You can have them for free. My chickens are laying too much for me to handle!
