Bolinas was my guess too. Could be anywhere in the northern woods though!

Bolinas They even steal signs beggars hold up! Love that place!!! Hippy/biker/vegetarians all over. Drop your pretensions and slide on in. Friendly place as long as your buyin'    Don't be in a hurry and chill with the people... Helps if you look shabby and road wise... Listen more than you talk Some real good yarn spinners there

I was gonna say Bolinas or Olema....but i think I've seen a sign for Olema.

It's been well known the 'locals' at Bolinas steal any road signs that are put up & especially the one at the intersection of Highway One. This stupidity has been going on for decades & if anything only attracts more attention to their community.

My Grandpa did some book keeping for the  Audubon Society and used to take us to Canyon Ranch and we would visit some of his friends there and look for Agates on the Beach. He used to tell us that You can tell your friends where you went but don't tell them how to get there. Used to be a cool little town with some rich history and traditions. Haven't been there in years.

I love it. In Utah they just shoot them. Go anarchists..................

It's a we aren't here for YOU thing... Not a tourist trap Just want to keep the yahoo's out... Locals and in the know thing.... Got it?

I went to Bolinas back in the early 90's and got a parking ticket for parking in an area where the no parking sign had been stolen.  No sign to be found.
