I surprised that they have tent sites available - when I reserved my spot they gave me RV space for tent

I really like Meeks Bay.  I have fished it for the last 6  or 7 years.  Macks and kokanee.  I'll try to make it.

Just a reminder that the Tahoe Roadtrip is coming up soon. I know a lot of you were interested. Meeks Bay is full, but some of the surrounding camps still have space. Hobie, Eddyline, and Jackson will be on site all weekend with Demo kayaks available. The Potluck will be Saturday Night at Headwaters Base Camp at Meeks Bay Resort. Over 100 people have RSVPed so far, so it should be a great party.

Frank and I are in RV Site 6.  Looking forward to this adventure.

It will be great to have some NCKA family there this year.

Yeah! We are in tent site #1!

We went up and stayed there in May to check it out - great spot, and wonderful beach to launch from. There are bears (they have bear boxes) and I have to say - the bathrooms are brand new and wonderful! Clean!

I will be counting down the weeks!

Maybe Headwaters could host a Tahoe fishing seminar?

Our annual Tahoe Bash is only two weeks away! Anyone else excited? You should be, we just got word that Kokatat Watersports Wear is sending up a batch to demo drysuits for people to test over the weekend. Also Sean Morley from Jackson Kayak will be on hand, helping me with demos and instruction. Sterlings Kayaks will be there with a batch of brand new Demo Boats along with one of my kayaking heros and mentor Reg Lake. Tom and Lisa Derrer, owners of Eddyline Kayaks/Swift Paddles will also be vacationing with us and filming an Eddyline commercial. They are also releasing their newest kayak the Denali at the event. We cant wait!

Can't wait, I am looking forward to checking out the Denali.

Okay, I have planned my route through the mountains from Jackson Meadows to Meeks Bay; and if I head out early Saturday morning, I should get there by sometime around Saturday evening.... of the following week!

Looks like a fun time for all!!!!
