Marine Radio

Hi Guys, long time.  I got a Marine Radio for X-mas and I want to preset it for use.  I don't remember if the club uses one particular channel or not. 

69 seems to be where most people hang out

69 is also the preferred channel at HMB; channel 16 for PBers...

I believe there is only 2 channels you can use for just talking and 69 is one. Every channel has a special purpose. You need to be careful which one you use. This is when using a VHF radio.

In the Port Of Sacto and on the Sac River I run 68. On any of the lakes I run 69. Thats what most power boat fisherman run. Not sure if there is  certain Yak channels. I'am still a grass hopper in training in the yak world.

More than that. Know your channels and proper use. This is important.
