Gonna lift it and put on monster tires?  Big boom box and stripper poll?  That seems to be the hot ticket now at Glamis and Pismo and other sand places.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Will not spin by hand so I dumped a quart of trany fluid in the cylinder....frame is in crazy good shape with very little surface rust... steering seems fine ..it has 4 coil over shocks that are like new.. brakes in great shape..missing a big round  piece that the drive belt rides on{{I will figure it out}}..somebody did the body work {{This cart is fiberglass}}..missing the front body part..no seats ..no roof parts....
I think it worth a very close look at this thing ,,if it is only the top end and if the rear drive and trany seem okay then
"" I CAN AND WILL REBUILD IT"....it is winter the waves are small and I do live on a golf course...

Make sure you replace the crank seals, that old and sitting around odds are it will leak and sieze the lower end.

so after more close looking I am going to get it running....I looked over electrical ,,drained all fluids ,, cleaned and did some touch up painting .....worked the cylinder free by hand ,,then turned it by hand back and forth slowly until all the grinding  sounds stopped,,primed it up with a gas oil mix (I do not trust the oil injector pump yet}} throw in a battery and got it running .. sounded very good {{I THINK}}..I am missing a clutch drive piece that I need to test it on the road((just because it runs does not mean it has the compression needed for driving)) also missing the front body part BUT I found them both in a golf cart junk yard in Livermore cali....waiting for a call back saying the parts are off and ready for pickup after that I ill know if a engine  rebuild is in my future..
I am going to make it a golf cart and use it when I play...

Looks like a fun project!  Wish I knew anything about engines besides where the oil goes  :smt044  I've got my winter project started, converting a cargo trailer to a mini-camper.  Slow going so far  :smt004
