Sending good vibes to Greg.

Ugggggg, this makes me so sad and hits home too. Wishing  the best to Greg in his struggle.   

I lost  my uncle 12/23/12 to kidney cancer.  I was able to fly to Co to spend a few days with him in early December.

It is such is tuff spot to be in.   There is so little hope but yet you continue to pray and hope for an improvement.

No matter what happens, I know the positive energy will not go to waste...

Here is an update from his Dad:

"We brought Greg home today. Everything went smoothly, although most of the professional staff thought that we were strange to insist on transporting Greg in our van instead of getting an ambulance. Since he is on "do not resuscitate" status, I thought an ambulance would be quite pointless...We have an IV for fluids and nutrition, and hospice is set up. Greg has been mostly uncommunicative today. He was able to help with transport by standing after being helped up, but that was about all he could do...If he is awake, I think he hears and understands. He has been in and out of this state several times, so we continually hope that he will revert to being able to hear and talk. "

Good vibes and energy flowing to Greg, you and Ana. I have been in deep with my daughter when she was in the hospital  and have seen some amazing, unexplained things. All I ever tell her is never give up hope.

You have a big heart Jim. Sending good vibes to Greg and his family. I'll keep him and his family in my prayers.

not much that I can say that hasn't already been said. He is in my thoughts. Jim I know quite well what and how you feel. Right now I'm mentoring a guy in Santa Barbara whom is waiting for a double Lung transplant. From Cystic Fibrosis. I'm doing the pay it forward thing as I had a double lung transplant 16 yrs ago. And yes miracles do happen. Im sure he is happier to be home. Where when awake he can enjoy his own music and bed. But my hart goes out to his parents as much as well. And for the same reasons we should send them the vibes as well.

Greg also got to meet the Dalai Lama back in 2005, and the article linked below gives some insight into the kind of young man Greg is: thoughtful, determined and caring with a great sense of humor.

He never brags about meeting him, or having Robin Williams come visit him in his Hospital room, but gets very animated telling the stories if you ask.
