quarry lake 01.14.13

Beautiful day at quarry despite cold conditions! Unfortunately, no fish were harmed today. BUT, I really enjoyed getting "out there again". (It's been too long) Want to thank GB2 and Molly for hanging with me and getting me hooked up with a scott-made rudder kit - works like a charm but still have to test it with the sail kit. Anyway, I paddled around the entire lake and got no love. I trolled a shad rap along the drop offs. It was my first time on this lake with a kayak and I'll definitely be making more trips in the future - with Kylo and my SUP board.

Had a great time yesterday. The PAS is somewhat complex to rig. I only made it through 5" of the video before the WTF?  and turned it off so was no help to you yesterday. Bring it to Crab Fest and GLEN will set it up for you.

I trained her to swim on command only. I originally thought she would be a good duck hunting dog but later found out she was gun shy. Oh well, she sure is a great kayak fishing dog.
