Cool! I'm currently up the road in San Ramon as well, but in a few months or so, I'll be in Dublin. Welcome to the neighborhood.
Sport Chalet in Pleasanton has a decent fishing section and also sell Nightcrawlers and frozen bait. They also have BH Swimbaits. I've been hounding them to sell the 6" ones, but so far they only sell 4".
Hopefully we can get out and fish together sometime. See ya around!

Congrats Ben!  Now I can pick you up on the way to Amador. :smt044

Saw Saturday night that I missed your call.  Sorry we didn't hook up at the ISE.

Unfortunately I can't join you Friday.  I'm done until February.

Welcome to the Tri-Valley Ben!!! I'm sure you won't miss that killer commute. There are about a dozen NCKA in the Tri-Valley, most in Livermore. I will be at SC on Friday morning probably around 730-8AM. Will be testing my new FF. DV kind of sucks in January and February, IMO unless you want to soak power bait. The south end right now is heavily stained so head up to the dam if you want to troll.

Scott that sounds good.  I'll be there around gate open to spend a few hours. I'm testing the new kayak and my drift anchor system so we can goof off with our toys together.  i'm probably also gonna try to get one of those annual passes considering how close the new place is.

Hey Ben
Hope the move goes smoothly. We've got some hardcore NCKA in Fremont. Be hooking up with you soon.

See you tomorrow Ben. You can buy an annual pass online for $50 which covers park entry and the dog fee. https://www.regionalparksfoundation.org/sslpage.aspx?pid=489

I get one every year and use it over 12 times a year so it saves me money.

Entry Fee $6
Dog Fee $2
Car Top Launch $3
Fishing $5

$50 Annual Pass = 9 visits to recover investment (7 with a dog)
$175 Angler Pass = 13 visits to recover investment (11 with a dog)

unfortunately the angler pass is $290 for me since i'm not a student or a senior..but i'll still make value out of it since it also allows boat launches.  but that price isn't effective until after i make the move to alameda county so i'll wait until after we move in.
