Built me a "Bass" Tank

No... not for the fish specie, but for my subwoofer 

Had some free time to kill (since I was not able to make it to the ISE show), so I decided to add some 'thump' to my TJ....

Here's a custom built Sub & Amp enclosure that I've been working on the past few days; since have to add some color to it (paint), then it should be good to go!

Who on earth, other than you, wants to hear Menudo blasting down the street.

Not sure which is more interesting; that your speakers point outward for everyone to hear or that they sit right above your gun drawer.

Speaking of old school rap, I was talking with a friend who's familiar with the site and I was telling him about our sister site, NWKA, and he asks, is that a spinoff of NWA?

I've been making speaker box enclosures for a while; use to work at a stereo dealer as an installer.

I normally use 3/4" MDF board, but becuase of space limitations, I went with 5/8"; and it helps to have your own woodshop next to the garage.

I used either liquid nail or elmer's glue at the seems and fastened with #6 drywall screws: which are counter sink and puttied over to hide the screws. And. normally I would cover it with fabric, but since there a possibility of it getting wet, I opt'd to paint this box. Right now I am still apply the 6+ coats of primer; followed by 4+ coats of finish and if I have time (and don't be lazy) I'll add a couple coats of clear just to seal it and add some shine......
