Okay paybacks are a bitch.  So here's one of me.  Hat Creek circa 1977.  Knocking them dead with the Zebco rod.

All the pictures of young young me are at home, but this is the oldest one I could find on Facebook. Sorry to really age some of you guys like this, but this was 2006ish, I was 16  :smt044 :smt044 Note the lack of shoes, rarely had to wear them in Kentucky!

Great thread, glad you brought it back!

I still fly a little, it goes through phases. I actually just sold 3 700 size electric helicopters and a 450 sized heli, now all I have is a quadcopter and a foam electric job with a go pro on it. Would really really like to get another large scale, but the logistics of storage and transportation are terrible, not to mention the nearest gas field is 45 minutes away. I had to get rid of all my larger scales when I joined the military..

You should get those old nitros down and fire them up! If you haven't flown in a while you'd be surprised at all the changes the hobby has gone through, and if you have a YS110 in one of those birds it's worth some money to the right person!

#1 Sonoma Count Fair Greased Pig contest...back when they really greased the pigs and they were much bigger than the ones they use now. I actually captured two pigs at once that day as the dumb ass kid next to me stuck his finger in his pigs mouth and lost it. So I grabbed his pig too... :smt003

HOLY TOLEDO Pt. Conception Baja 25+ years ago. I believe he was ten at the time. We camped out on the point for 18 days. My favorite quote of his was after he was stirring fresh lobster and clams in a can of creamed corn saying he didn't think he would ever eat lobster again.
