Decided to smoke the rest of that yellowfin my friend gave me, and while the weber is fired up I might as well cook more.  The yellowfin brined 36 hours in my 7-up based brine.  It's been on the cold side of the weber most of the day.  I just coated it with molasses.  I added the sausage a while back.  It heats and '"keeps".  The shrimp are an experiment.

I grilled the shrimp right on top of the fire as an hors d'oeuvre.  Hit them with a little molasses too.  They were surprisingly salty even though I did not season them.  I think the next batch will go with my cherry-jalepeno barbecue sauce.

You didn't think I was smoking something else, did you?   :smt004
