Eric, maybe you can help me clear up an issue.  Is it legal to use the snell slip knot when trolling?  I know the hooks have to be fixed while mooching but as I read the regs they don't have to be fixed if trolling.

Yes, Josh.  I constantly use the mooching slip rigs for trolling.  Constantly.

When trolling they don't have to be circle nor fixed, but fixed is better.

Thanks for the halibut video.  I would use my net on a halibut that size though.

Dangit, I'm late!

No matter what, I hope everyone is safe this weekend.  I missed the deadline as I was in South Africa for safari and lacked Internet.  Worked out for the best, as a very good friend passes last weekend and funeral for her is a this weekend.  She led a good life for 84 years.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it this year Bill...I hope you are doing well.
