Eric,

Do you have a copy of the conditions during GS6 for comparison?

It's going to be epic. All PETA should stay away from the fish cleaning station or  it will be a Prozac moment for you. The wind will be quartering and the bluff should provide protection so I don't think getting back to the launch will be an issue. The wind will making jigging more difficult so bring the big guns and be ready to lose some stuff. I hate drift chutes but will bringing one.

I don't, Antonio, but I know it was low 40's with rain.  The ocean wasn't bad that day - just the cold and wet!

I think it'll be similar to last year.

Jigging is gonna be tough in wind like that, unless your pedaling a Hobie. Just sayin.

Related post tourney note, there may be fish counters from Dept of Fish & Wildlife (DFW) there asking about your catches as you come ashore  - and there will be lots of anglers to talk to!   Please keep in mind they are good folks just there doing their job collecting data, nothing more.  Of course, keep in mind there may be DFW wardens around too but their inquiries about your catch will not be for data collecting.  Know your regulations!!

Thanks Eric,
I don't remember rain last year just the fog when it rolled in.

I haven't caught a fish in California since 1977. Looking forward to breaking that streak at GS7! I actually caught my first fish in Ventura in 1957, and have been a fishing addict ever since. Always loved the bottom fishing.
