Chemical Lime plant.

Ever wonder were the white rock you see in front of mobile homes come from? They mine the dolimite just east of Salinas.From afar the mountain appears to be white. Amazing place for sure. We are working out there and I was able to take A tour of the whole plant. Amazing!! Most of the machines are operated by A laptop computer my co worker designed...They also cruch and kiln the rock into fine dust that they use in making quickrete. Second pic is the kiln.

They mine lime above tables finger at Lake Nacimento. They use it for many things even chicken feed.
