Went out with my Dad, my brother and his daughter Alex with our favorite charter group (Shorething) out of MS.

Cold fronts kept us fishing close to shore, but Captain Matt Tusa worked hard to keep our rods bent and nice fish coming into the boat.

 :smt003

Stuffed the boxes with NICE size sheepshead, one small speck, one small flounder and a nice eating size black drum.  :smt007 :smt007

Was great to fish with my Dad and brother again AND to see Alex battling the hard fighting sheepshead and having her best day of fishing ever.  :smt004

Huge thanks to Shorething Charters for being flexible with our changing family schedules and braving the cold temps for us.

Looking forward to the next time already!!

Great report!
I used to live in Biloxi.  Stationed at Keesler AFB back in the 70's.  The fishing down there was off the charts.
Thanks for triggering the memories.

The pictures reminded me of fishing trips in Texas for Sheepheads with my brothers.  Thanks for the Mississippi Gulf Coast report and fish porns Jim.

Strong work, Jim!  I don't know what's more scary:

- being a fish around you; or
- shaking your hand!   :smt003 :smt008
