I swear, I laughed so hard, I had to lie down on the ground.
I was portaging my boat between two small lakes today, and when I was putting it in at the water, it slid down the bank and launched itself !
There was no one around, but in retrospect, I wish I'd had photos of it (my camera was in the boat).
It shot out about 30 yards into the lake, and luckily there was a crosswind, so I walked around the bank and waited for it.

Fat Freddie,

Do you still have your cat? Do the words "Hoopa hoopa" mean anything to you?

Yours from the 60's
Scott
