Awesome try guys. Those bowls are enormous. How long will it be before any of you can enjoy a bowl of pho again?

Craig, that's very cool of you, thanks!

I just have to say the pics don't do justice.  Underneath the nice looking meat visible in the pics was tripe and tendon that had the consistency and flavor of rubber bands that had been previously eaten and crapped out by a goat.  I swear I tasted seaweed, too.

Martin pulled off the amazing feat of having more pho in his bowl at the end of the challenge than he started with.

Craig, coolio bro and I matched your donation for us knuckleheads.

By far, that was the stupidest thing I've ever attempted. A buddy and I once finished a Costco pizza and I use to tear it up when I was a part of the buffet circuit. I realized minutes in, 1/3 of the way through the noodles, that those buffet days were waaay behind me. So I decided to take it easy and BS with the crew. BTW, don't add ice unless you think you can take it down in less than 15 minutes! The fat started to coagulate 30 minutes in and the rare beef stayed rare.

Eric was a champ and nearly completed the challenge! Martin was more concerned with maintaining his 6 pack. Angle was thinking about gelato the whole time. Art looked fly and had it all planned out with his head and wrist bands... until the bowl hit the table. The rest of the crew probably thought we were nuts.  :smt003

So who's going to set up the smoke eaters hellfire challenge?!

You guys are animals.

I was thinking my brother could probably put one of those bowls down, but he couldn't handle all the tripe and tendons and stuff.
