Looks like there is still some room for improvements in this design.  Good idea though.  I'd like something pneumatic ... use of a hatchback cylinder in there somewhere.  Sound slike a winter project challenge to me!

Looks like the video is from Australia.  I don't know about the idea of attaching to the hitch ball though, would rather have it mounted in a 2" reciever.

Me thinks it would be too much of a pain to alter my trailer to adapt it.

Some sort of strut to give you a little more control would be good.  unloading / loading something on uneven, rocky, wet and slippery ground or even directly to, or, from  the water like we do is definitely different than doing it on soft, dry grass, as he was demonstrating..
