One of my traps was taken over night last tuesday there. The crabbing has been pretty slow but you might get a few. I should not say that my trap may have had a dozen in it before some bastard hauled it away.

Goat Rocker, it might have just been dragged underwater. I've learn my lesson the hard way leaving pots over night in Tomales.
The tides pull the buoys down along with sand and eel grass. I've lost two pots, saw one buoy holding at 5ft under water and finally got it back and another totally lost, only to get a call from a nice couple who found it two weeks after i lost it.
I might be game this weekend!

West coast, yeah I had the problem the first time I went out there with small buoys and that wicked tide, so I changed my pots to bigger buoys and haven't lost any since.

I did have a small buoy. Maybe that's what happened, there were some wicked tides that night.
