There is a gazebo type thing with a huge BBQ next to it.  It' has power there, and I think you can get power at the bathrooms, which is up by where you park your car.  Easy haul to the campground, down a paved path!  Launching should be doable right from camp too, as it meets the waters edge in a nice shallow area.

Al thanks for the info on the BBQ!  That was my next question to the post!  I think I have 2 20lb bags of kingsford charcoal  (1 1/2 bags anyway I'll check) that my wife doesn't like to use anymore, I'll bring what I have for that huge BBQ!  Will need something to heat my skirt steaks on.

Where's the closest place to get live bait?

I think Glen hooked me up last year.

G-Whiz, you bringin' bait this year?

Hoping to make it, but just for the day. Have to hit the road by 3 PM as I have family coming into town that afternoon. How's the Bluegill fishing there? May rig up some those versus jumbo minnows.

Gotta check with that tackle shop on hwy 33 in Santa Nella south of Mcdonalds. Used to be called Lucky Larrys but I'm not sure what it's called now.
Another option is catching small sculpins in the rocks by check 12 using tiny pieces of redworm. Heard they make good striper bait....

Try Coyote Bait and Tackle in Coyote, just south of San Jose.  You're probably driving through the area on your way down.  It's a little bit of a detour from the freeway, but not too far.
