Just confirmed ill be able to hit this event especially since its so close... my first NCKA event look forward to meeting everyone and having a good time ill be at the lake by Friday afternoon ....... as soon as I got the ok I decided, not to go to work and get this bad boy out from buried in the garage.....

I'm assuming you mean the San Luis Creek gate?  What about Madeiros?  I'm guessing not since the ramp there is closed.   Can you get inspected at San Luis Creek gate and then drive around to Madeiros?

What time do they open?  Their website says 6AM.  Can anyone confirm?

Not sure if this was answered already but yes they do check the kayaks when entering Madeiros campground. I was camped there last week and will most likely camp there for the chill as well. They only charge $15 a night for an RV....

Medieros is on the opposite side of the lake/forebay though. I hope they're doing inspections at the entrance kiosk to San Luis creek campground too.

At last year's OFB FNC, they did the inspection at the kiosk to San Luis creek campgrounds.
