Sean - I like the spatula paddle - now that's real "light weight"  ......and portable too ...you can also use it to kill bugs 

Yeah, and I can "double flip" the fillets on the grill come camp time .

Reminds me of a book I read in the last couple of years, How to Build a Tin Canoe (or Boat, one or the other), by a southerner, who as a boy used to spend summers on the ocean flats.  He built a canoe out of a piece of corrugated tin roofing, pinched the ends together, used some asphalt to seal it up, maybe some split hose for the gunwale. But it the topic was more of an excuse to write about the joy of a carefree youth messing around on endless summer days.
