Looks like we might get a break in the wx here.  Who's up for TC or Stillwater Cove on Monday?
Does anyone have a good spot to drop crab pots off in either of those locations?

I really want to get out a couple more times before it closes. Raydon put some pots out of TC as deep as 140' and got a few. I'd be down for putting I a few pots in 100' or so. Fingers crossed on the WX. Mike

WX permitting, I'm in! As far from Jenner as possible. TC up to Ocean Cove is my normal "stompin' grounds" but I think further north would be better. Anybody got intel farther up? Come on give it up...

I have fished anchor bay a few times. Pretty easy launch, not to far to fishing. Caught blacks, blues, cabs, & lings inside fish rock.

I'll be up there on Sunday, and I'm thinking I might sleep in the van and stay for Monday too. Hope to see lots out there. I can feel January and the withdrawl already. Freshwater fishing just isn't the same.

Isn't there another river outlet near there? Maybe the Gualala?

Monday looks goooooooooooooood.   Gerstle is further up than TC and  OC.  But I'm ok with either or those places.

Be careful of the beach at Gualala.
When the river rises over the beach it goes from a trickle to full blow out in no time flat.
It's washed a couple of people away.

I'd be down for Grestle, I've never fished it and always wanted too. I have no idea what to expect in regards to parking or launch?
As for dropping pots, I found some real flat spots that might hold some bugs in about 150' just outside the cove. There also looks to be a lot of sand off stump beach in about 80' which is about a 1.5 mile paddle north from Grestle.

I cut my ocean fishing teeth at Gerstle.  Launch is challenging, but once out, it is wide open.

If you want more detail, let me know.
