Handline Enthusiats?

I am a newbie and interested in handlining. It is something I want to do and think it will be fullfilling. I realize it's not for everyone but would like to make contact with some who practice the handline style from yaks to get the lowdown. For me it's all about the tactile experience.

I used to handline for trout back East, but I haven't done that for many years.  Good Luck!

This is something I wanted to also try; where can I get the fishing line spool (like in the pic)?

I did handlining for small tuna and bonitas in Jamaica... Zzzzz hehe. The action and adrenaline is just pure lacking.
