Kids lifetime kayak

After taking my little girl on multiple kayak fishing trips she asked me if Santa would get her a kayak. So I did some research and decided to get a youth lifetime kayak for her. I'm pretty excited about it since Lodi lake is right down the road from our house. She can practice more on casting off of the kayak and probably enjoy fishing more than sitting on the front of my kayak fishing. Just thought I would share this and see if any other fellow member have a lifetime kayak and if it is good enough to install a rod holder on it

Any kayak is good enough to have a rod holder on it, especially one that will have your kiddo out on the water with you!  Just be careful, chances are she'll be out-fishing you soon!

Just got each of my girls a Lifetime Wave youth kayak for christmas from Home Depot (came with a paddle).  Haven't looked into rigging it .... yet.  Still have them stored here at work till Santa comes.  Pretty nice looking kayaks for the $.  IF I add a rod holder, I'm thinking deck mounted Scotty or equiv.  Nothing fancy.  I want to keep it with little to no holes if possible.  Most likely stock.  I'm also thinking just a rod leash since it does have a few eye loops that they can snap the rod off to.

Had to get them online.  Not sure if the stores are carrying them yet.  I think you can do it online & have it shipped to the stores for free.  Got a blue & a green one.  Just got delivered on Monday.

I bought one in  the late spring for my daughter. I bought it @ Dicks sporting goods and after 25min. of no help I asked for the manager. They were scambling to find the paddle that came with the yak. so after all said and done they took a % off and with a $10 off coupon out the door for $97 

Just bought a pink one (with paddle) online for my 6 yo daughter. Under $120 delivered before xmas.

Nice, good to see others are purchasing this kayak. I got her a pink one with a paddle with free shipping for $109. I was looking at also getting her a lil seat for it. I purchased mine on wayfair and will get it next Wednesday. I got her a pole lesh just incase she drops it in the water. I'm pretty stoked though. I asked her if she wanted to get a Nintendo 3ds and she said a kayak instead to go fishing with me. You can't beat the price for the kayak though
