Turkey and a baby

So after 9 months of waiting we welcomed our first baby in to the world. Paige Baker was born yesterday 11/21 at 1:10pm 7.5 lbs, and 19".  Between NCKA and Race-Dezert.com I have been keeping my self entertained over the last two days. The highlight of the delivery was the nurse asking me if I was about to pass out, and if I was ok with all the blood and nastiness. I answered, that doesn't bother me, it just hit me that I'm a father now. I about lost it along with my wife but when the dr handed me the scissors to cut the cord it was time to man up and own it. She asked me later want the cord was like, "old twice thawed squid, you know like when you strip it up to tip a lure" already not felling to great she was less than impressed with my answer.

Congrats!!! Get ready for a wild ride!

Congrats!   What a great addition on a great day.  You have so much MORE to be thankful for now.   As an added bonus,  your kid shares a birthday with an awesome angler  (me).  CONGRATS!
