McAvoy's Pittsburg Monday 11/19

Good timing on the tides on Monday. I'm gonna get an early start 0330-0400 and fish the incoming for Stripers in the dark then switch gears and fish the outgoing for Sturgeon.

Sunrise is at 0653, high tide is at 0702. Low tide is 1233. Should be fun. Weekday warriors, where you at?

i think i'm game for a monday excursion, have the week off (teacher). I live in Brentwood and am close by, yet i have not fished that part of the Delta extensively. Not a rookie but could use a few reminders/pointers about what sort of rigs to bring, particularly for sturgeon. If you dont mind a bit of coaching let me know and i will see you there. In the meantime i will scour the forums for nuggets of info on sturgeon fishing.

Do you have a Quick Release Anchor System?

I do almost all my fish'n (what little I do) on weekdays, but I'm working all week and our crew is one short already........

I've got 6 jumbo size Bullheads. I'm going to be launching into the darkness around 4ish. Channel 68 if you're in the area.
