I haven't even owned my Cuda for 24 hours or even put in the water yet, but I'm rigging it. I installed my Hummingbird 160 Fish finder. This FF is the portable kind and the sensor is the suction cup kind. It worked great on my boat up until I went fast, then it wouldn't read at all. I figured I won't be hauling ass on this yak so I think the suction cup will do fine. I can also move it out of the way when I get in shallow water and when I launch. The battery is in a water proof box that I already had handy. It fits perfectly snug in between the scupper tubes, it takes a couple tugs to get out.

Glad you got a yak!  Time for some blood on the deck!

Glad to see the pictures - didn't know if it was my computer or not.  I didn't know there was a suction cup transducer mount out there - where is it sticking to?

Yes, there is a suction cup transducer out there. Mine came with my portable fish finder kit. It sticks really well to the bottom of the kayak. Once the surface its wet, its almost impossible to get off. Two versions available at the hummingbird website, link --> http://store.humminbird.com/category/269523/Portable_Mount.
