Any other group and I would be surprised with this story.  Once again, because of guys like batt, I am proud to be a part of the NCKA family!

Jeff, all you need now is a kayak and a fishing rod  :smt001

They have SUP Fishing gear :smt007 It's really tricky to balance while the fish is pulling you around :smt003 I'll stick with a kayak...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Cool story. Maybe GoPro would do something for the site. it is a great Ad.  Being lost at sea and still works. Found by the beautiful pictures inside. Like the old Timex commercials.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!

When I grow up I want to be like batt...hardcore waterman, paddler, diver, spearo, saving people that have fallen off yaks at multiple NCKA tourneys, helping get lost gear back to rightful owners....you're a good man Dave!!!

That camera has good mojo Jeff!!   :smt003 :smt004 :smt003

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday batt!!

Gopro was picked up tonight.  It was a gift from his Mom.    What area was that weight belt/knife lost in?  I'm all over that.  Better than hunting mushrooms.

Thanks again for tracking me down David, you are a true gentleman!

I lost the camera so long ago, I even forgot what month it was!  I went through my old emails and found my Craigslist ad dated 3/10/12.  Amazing that that thing was out there for so long.  I popped out the SD Card and watched the last video of me getting hit by the wave and the Go Pro rolling around (eerily) in the surf.  Eight months later, Dave's wife finds it on the beach.

I figured it would not charge but it's on the charger right now.  All it needs is a new housing.  Amazing!!

Yes, people are fishing and crabbing from SUPs now.  I can't imagine catching a big sturgeon from a SUP though!!

Thanks again to everyone to helped locate me, I really do appreciate all of your efforts.  I will stick around here, cool site, cool people.  :smt001

Yeehaw!

Hey Jeff, if you get a chance it would be cool to see the clip of you getting wiped out and the camera going down to the bottom!  :smt003

Thanks again batt for being such a stand up guy!

Jim
