Anyone ever listen to the radio while fishing. I've only done it once listening to ESPN, although it didn't last too long as I didn't want my cell phone to die.

   Several times while WSB fishing, which means a lot of waiting for something big to happen.
   I, and the "first 10,000 fans" at the Giants game, got a really cheap radio, about 2"x2" with earpieces.
It barely worked at the ballpark to pick up knbr, but out on the water in Monterey it picks up a couple of stations very clearly, and I wouldn't cry if it went overboard.  I just put it some ziplocks.  It did help pass the time.
I might be better off using my Apple Shuffle, which I don't use much now that I have a smart phone.

Same with mine and it also gets air traffic which can be fun when fishing near oak air port
