I just off the phone with Hobie Oceanside.  The package is called "Hobie Thru Hull Wiring Kit"  #86505621, comes with 2 outside end caps, 2 O rings. 2 back end nuts, several rubber fittings to fit diff. transducer types.
All for $12.99.  Its not in the Hobie Catalog yet but can be ordered from a Hobie dealer.  I think I will go with this system.

Here's a great system from Hobie - check out 2:10 to 2:25 to see parts provided with PA 12.  (For Wire seal only)
I can't find these parts in the Hobie Catalog.

I just ordered a couple of these:
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?keywords=288-1164-ND
They might be too small for some cables, but if they work, they'll take up less space than other liquid-tight connectors I've seen. I should have them within a couple of days and I'll post again then.

I think those will be too small for any of the FF cables. They all have a fitting on them bigger than a quarter inch, which is how big that one is.

Oops. I actually meant this one here:
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?WT.z_header=search_go&lang=en&keywords=NG-9513&x=0&y=0&cur=USD

A drawing with dimensions can be found here:

This one just fits over the cables ends on my Garmin 300C (the rubber seal requires a little effort, but it'll stretch enough to fit). Easy hand tightening gives a waterproof seal around the cable.

The only (minor) negative is that there could be a few more threads on the back side. I can hardly get the nut started, and I think if I tighten it too much, it won't hold. So I'm going to use some epoxy to glue it on the back, just to be extra secure.
There's always money in the banana stand.

I saw first hand the Hobie Thru Hull Wiring Kit from Dune12's (Vince) PA 12.  Looks impressive to me  compared to the other types I've seen.  I already bought these 2 items and glad I've not put in yet.

This is what I'm using on my lowrance mark 4. They work really well. I don't seal the opening as I like to be able to move the wires in and out. I haven't had a problem with leaking. I really like the new hobie wire seals. It looks like they might be interchangeable. I might have to order a few and play with them.
