Any one ever tried fresh live crawdads for bait in the ocean for rock fishing? I gots some big ones from an irrigation ditch when it dried up i wouldnt eat them considering where i found them but figured crawfish plastics work an these are bigger an real

I'm not 100% certain that is legal?  Can you introduce a "bait" to an enviroment that it is not native you?  My post is more of a question than a statement ... sorry.

Ya from my understanding tilapia is the only bait u cant use in the ocean. Crawdads gonna die after a short time in the ocean

Tilapia is a Monsanto geneticaly enhanced fish in the ocean. They do not want the introduction of non-coporate fish without their cut in the fees!  :smt044

I've tried fresh dead ones for cabbies, but no luck, I would guess they would die within 20 min in the ocean if used live
