Testing the waters.  As much as I love this kayak for fishing, I want to upgrade next year to an AI to combine my passion for sailing with my need to kayak & fish!

This was purchased earlier this year from a fellow NCKA member and now it's only fit it oges to another NCKA member!  2010 Malibu Stealth 14 (grey color).  Rigged with plumbed livewell, Lowrance transducer and your choice of a B&W Lowrance FF or a Color GPS/FF unit (M68c).  Includes a seat & possibly a paddle.  I will include a NEW kart as well!  Also included is a battery.  Fully rigged & ready to fish!  I've had it out less than 5 times and always pressure washed & given a TLC coat of 303.  First question that comes to EVERYONES mind is "does it leak"?  After a full day of fishing abd taking some water over the bow, I might have had a cup of water in the hull.  The previous owner upgraded the hatch gaskets.  After I bought it, I installed a NEW Sealect TrueCourse foot controlled rudder kit that I bought from Headwaters in Lodi ($200+).  Customized & installed in only the manner possible to work the right way with this kayak.

Kayak tracks well, handles well and has MORE than enough room for gear!  I am a bit of a gear packrat and I had space leftover!!!  I currently have about 8 pool noodles stuffed in the kayak as well.  It is a factory BLEM model because one of the Malibu stickers on the side was cut off during the molding.  No affect to the kayak performance.  I'll try to get some pictures this evening if needed.  Don't be suprised if you see it on C.L. but I will give preferance to NCKA.  Located right between Monterey and Santa Cruz along Highway 101.

Feel free to PM me an offer.  Yak comes with lots of good sand dab catchin mojo! :smt044  I have 2 backup yaks to use during the winter time (sit inside models) so I'd rather it get used and I can prepare myself for an AI!!!

Thanks!

~Bill
(P.S.  Picture was taken before I installed the TrueCourse rudder system)

Here's what I have invested:  $750 for the kayak from JBaker (with the plumbed livewell), $220'ish+ for the SeaLect TrueCourse Rudder System, $300 (Paid almost $500 but they are as low as $300 now) Lowrance M68C Color GPS/FF, new Kayak Kart value at $40 (think they are like $80-90 new), $20 worth of pool noodles, seat included, battery included.  I might have a spare paddle ($100) around here I can include .  The kayak came with a B&W fishfinder I can sub out for the M68 or even include it as a spare depending on the deal.  So, there's my investment.  Countles shours to customize the TrueCourse for install but it was fun so that's FREE!  I can cartop the kayak and meet in the San Jose area for serious buyers!  I transport it in a set of Thule Kayak craddles.

Thanks!

~Bill

Opened it up to Craigslist today at $985 ready to fish!  I'll work with any NCKA member interested in a GREAT fishing ready kayak.  Just add water! :fishing1 If you fish from it, they will come!  Fishfinder unit includes a RAM Mount as well......

Thanks!
