You da man Allen.

Sent you a text too.

Thanks Victor, Dan and Headwaters for all your support of NCKA members. You all rock.

Looking forward to seeing you and your suit covered in fish blood in future reports.

If there is anything which defines NCKA is the kindness and generosity of it's members. A brotherhood and sisterhood like no other. A privilege to be a member of this group. Good work guys.

 :smt003 Report:

'Went to Headwaters tonight for the trout fishing clinic!
Dan has ordered the wet suit (!!!)

....I watched Adam tying those knots...so now I know how to use a swivel, attach a bead of some sort, use a red hook with a grub. I am seriously considering doing the fishing tournament on Sunday at Amador :-)

I can't thank you all enough....and I look forward to being able to pay it forward! I will keep you posted! :-)

I'm brand new at kayak fishing.  First time out had a full wetsuit and used smartwool socks and teva's as my bootie system.  Worked out great, was a hot day but just stuck my hand in the water when I got hot.

Hi! This may be a novice question for me to ask, but what are "teva's"?

I was thinking of getting some wool socks as well.

Why would you need a wetsuit if you had to swim for a few hours in the ocean? ;-) Hehehe
