Hi jweb, I'm not a fly guy but I get out there every once in a while.  That's a great pic of the islands you posted.  I usually fish the spot in between or the west side Steve mentioned, but someone just told me about that reef that leads north from the big island.  It's marked by white poles in the water I believe, and some old guy swears by that spot.  I'll need to try it next time out there.  I live right on San Pedro Rd. just past the Marin Yacht Club so its and easy drive for me - if I had wheels I wouldn't need a car at all!
