Killer Calico

I know we don't get Calico up here, aside from some random el nino survivors, but maybe some of you are transplants from down south or may know someone who would like this.  Thought you might appreciate some new art from me as well.



I have about 14 or so artist proofs that I'm selling at ~%40 off. Each print is 13x19 on canvas and matted to fit a 18x24" standard frame. They are signed and noted with A.P. (artist proof) There are slight differences to each one of these prints as I tweaked the color and contrast making them each one of a kind.

Yeah, a lot of research went into this piece.  Most fish vids we see show the fish inhaling a small hapless baitfish. Not much drama, but an octopus would be a tough take down.  Smart, fast, armed and deceptive.  Eventhough it looks like this octopus has had it, I imagine there would be a way out.

Damn, good thing I'm not a calico hunter or else I'd have to have that to go with the six other prints of yours I have!

I'm trying my best to shoot one this year...so far this year the score is Calicos: 2 Big Jim: 0.

 

The two that I did see were beautiful though and your picture really captures the colors and patterns of the fish and the details of the surrounding kelp forest.

Love it and can't wait to win the raffle!!
