gAAAAAH!

I see those bright red centipedes we have here in the redwoods from time to time, but they are nothing compared to that. Yikes! It looks like the sugar-water eating, Eggar alien from MIB.

Bugs are extremely resilliant as per Formosa Termites,, African honey bees etc. I imagine they could find warm places to live like under houses and migrate in the summer.
Ben, your a great guy, but exotics are a bad idea.
I'm sure somebody once thought Quagga Mussels, Pythons and Silver Carp were cool additions to their aquarium or pet collection

Thats very cool, I am totally into entomology and what not (E.O.Wilson is a giant of Science), but dude!  Then again I have kept tarantulas and scorpions for extended periods of time... and once had 2 tree frogs get eaten alive by crickets on a cross country trip....pretty brutal, really

Rock on with your big bad venomous multilegged friend!!

Recomended a handful of crickets once a week and a mouse once a month, in the wild they eat lizards, frogs, rodents, just about anything they find on a nights hunt.

I second that too. I want to see how that fine specimen will undertake such a task.

Also what sort of plants are you putting in the cage? I may have to stay away from your campsite.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044 Joking of course.  :smt003

I don't frown on keeping venomous animals at all but any plans if you accidentally get bit? Is there antivenom available for those dudes? Way cool centipede though and hopefully it lives a long and happy life.
