New GoPro model in time for Xmas????

Here is some of the specs.  Hero 3 Black 4K at 15fps, 2.7K at 30p. 1080p at 60, and 720p at 120 fps. WiFi built in. $400, ships Monday.

If you can wait , we are going to do a NCKA buy.

Victor...do you think you will be able to swing any model of the GP3 or just the black? I am digging the silver. If I have my phone in a waterproof case I guess I have a remote!

So I understand this, will I be able to connect to my iPhone wirelessly with Bluetooth or use a gopro app to connect with my phone without the need to hook up to a computer with a USB cable?  I have the iPhone 4S if that matters.

You will be able to control and preview video from your iPhone.  I don't think you will be able to download video directly to it.  Also it is using wifi not Bluetooth.

Those Bastards! I spent $249 on GoPro HD1 three weeks before that announced HD2. I just bought HD2 at $220 three weeks ago (still not opened) thinking it's a deal, and now HD3 is out. People didn't even get their Remote app for HD2 until this week. I guess the moral of the story is, if you find a deal on GoPro, don't fall for it and wait a month for the new generation. This is just bull crap.

People didn't even get their Remote app for HD2 until this week. I guess the moral of the story is, if you find a deal on GoPro, don't fall for it and wait a month for the new generation. is it defective? did the black housing clip fail and the camera got wet when it fell out? sounds like a warranty issue for REI if it's within 30days..... (hint: loose the black clip  )

I bought it online from a link that BassmanBen provided. It was a closeout and I'm sure they were dumping knowing what's coming. I doubt they would take it back.
