While I was in West Marine this morning, the manager strongly urged me to consider, as an alternative to Goop, this product, pointing out that the label says that it sticks to "plastic", and that "it has been flying off the shelves".  I him whether he'd or anyone he had talked to had used it on a kayak, and the answer was negative.  The back of the box said something about sticking to "resinated wood" and metal, but didn't mention plastic, let alone polyethylene.
I only have a couple of small bolt holes to fill, so I plan to just Goop the holes, with or without the old bolts. Especially since the G/flex is $19.
So far as I know, only Goop and welding work on our Tupperware, but maybe West has discovered the magic solution.

Can't comment on G flex, but I've filled bolt holes with hot glue from a  glue gun ala davew's reccomendation.  I heated the edges of the holes up with the tip of teh glue gun then filled the edges of the hole until it built up.  Then just shave the surface flat with a razor.  Worked really well.

ditto

I filled a transducer plug hole so it even works for larger holes.
