Hey yakkers - I'm writing an article about the increasing use of personal tracking devices (like a SPOT device) and other GPS-based equipment in small water craft like kayaks and even stand-up paddle boards. Has anyone used one of these devices to get out of a sticky situation on the water, or wished they had one when faced with an emergency or other problem? Reply or send me a message if you want to share.
Thanks,
Olaf (Windknot)
