Crabbing Clinic @ Headwaters 10/17/12

The crabbing opener is almost here! Its time to learn what it takes to crab from a kayak. I will be going over the basics and showing different types of traps, regulations, bait and even some cooking instructions. If you already know how to crab from a kayak, feel free to come and hang out.

Promar Traps and crabbing gear will be available for sale after the clinic. Normal NKCA discount is 10% off, but for anybody that attends the clinic you will receive 15% off the night of the clinic.

The clinic will take place at The Headwaters Kayak Shop, located at 847 North Cluff Ave, Lodi, Ca 95240.

This event will be a potuck style event so bring something to share with others. We will have some dogs on the grill around 5:30 and start the presentation at 6:30. Please bring your own chair.

Also The Headwaters will be raffling off a Promar 102W as a door prize for those that attend.

Stoked to be having this clinic. Victor always does an awesome job. It's cool to see so much excitement around kayak crabbing this year.

I was hoping to show up but I've got a doctors appointment, I was hping to buy a few traps.

Anyone ever use chicken liver as crab bait? A friends neighbor works for a chicken distributor and often gets cases of all different kinds chicken meat. He called me tonight asking if I wanted a case of livers.  Hmmmm

...come on a crab-fari with me...
