It's all good I love everything about NCKA just wish I wasn't a lame brain on a few things in life.  My motto is never stay content otherwise you will not strive to be a better person. I continue to take things from this site and love to give back more in the future.  I hope I can get out more as the boys get older and that time is coming. Watching the list on the AOTY this year is awesome so many top fishermen are doing great. Peace out.

I don't fish the ocean except once or twice a year. I'd like to do it more, if I had the means I would.
Last year, I only got about 4 days on the salt and still hit 8Th place (19 days total in the kayak)

perhaps we'll have monthly tournaments anyways.  I'm going to try to host 6 next year in the inland area... If I can get the right sponsors

Unfortunately,
With so many "events" popping up ... some sponsors are starting to also pick and choose which to support. I have been lucky enough to work hand in hand with these companies for many years and they are also experiencing a downfall in recent years.

Personally,
I would like to see AOTY focus more on the actual skill of the anglers rather than the actual time on is allowed to fish.

As for sponsored events,
There is such a thing as too many ... Just ask a sponsor who has been hit for 30 donations.
