Would anyone be interested in hitting HMB this Wednesday? Weather/swell looks favorable with less than 5knots wind and up to 6ft swell. Hopefully stays that way. Otherwise, I'll hit SPR instead for some bass fishing. I never fish the salt by myself.

Lingcod, rockfish, halibut. Try for WSB maybe. Never fished for them (wsb). Maybe I'll give it a try.

I am free Wednesday but the salt scares me to death.  It would only be the second time for me in a kayak, I think that is way to risky.  If you would like to target some largemouth somewhere, I would love to join you. :fishing2

Should go, because HMB is a protected harbor.  Get out of the harbor in the morning, you can always turn back into the harbor if you don't like the condition and you can fish around the rocks inside the harbor for cods.  Water inside the harbor is protected and real calm like a lake.

Negative for Sunday. I'm working this weekend. If we are going for bass where would you want to go eyecooktoo?? I'm thinking San Pablo reservoir since its close and productive. Negative for timber cove Darius. I'm working tue evening getting off around 12am. Let me know which one you'd prefer eyecooktoo. Wouldnt want to pressure you hitting the salt if you're not too comfortable. I'm ok with salt just not fishing it alone.

Herb, if you and eyecook still want to hit the salt, I'd be willing to join up. Eyecook: this will be my fourth time on the salt, so i'm more than willing to just stay wherever you're comfortable.

Herb- only swing back to HMB if you'd prefer the salt. I can't make the bass fishing due to lack of gear (any trout or panfish?) but wanted to make sure the other guy gets the chance @ some harbor fishing if he wants to. As long as I catch a dab, I'd be more than happy  :smt006

Herb, I am new to the area, I moved up from the L.A.  I haven't a clue where to go for bass. Wherever you like, I will be there.  Shelley   :fishing2

wow,, 10 knots wind and 9ft swell. I think I'll pass on HMB for Wednesday. Will definitely hit San Pablo Reservoir for some bass fishing. It's been a while since I've gone for bass. I will be at the ramp around 9-9:30ish (depending on traffic). Eyecooktoo, dont know if you can make the drive all the way to San Pablo from your location (Sac is it?), but make sure your yak is DRY. There is mussel inspection at SPR. It would be nice to hit AR again for salmon/striper or even the Delta for some LMB, but not in the mood to make the long drive. cya out there.
