I have a friend who wants his own kayak so he can join me fishing.  He doesn't want to spend over $500 (preferably $400 or less).   Also, he will consider yellow if the price is right but would prefer another color.   Anyone have one for sale?  He's not much of a forum joiner so he's not a member on here.  So, I'll help facilitate the deal.

Thx,
Joel

This morning I saw a blue Scupper Pro with tankwell for sale on East Cliff Ave. in the Pleasure Pt area between Santa Cruz and Capitola. The sign said $700 including paddle, but that is pretty high in my opinion for an old-style yak, but pretty good yak, though it looked at a glance to be in decent shape.  This person has had several watercraft (kayaks, canoes) resting on the same rusty big power boat trailer over the years, never seen a for sale sign before, or the blue yak.  He's probably hoping one of the many visitors to that area will think it's a reasonable deal.
If you're interested in trying to dicker with someone in this area, PM me, and I'll go get the phone number that was on the sign.

I have an old Prowler 15 that I would let go for 450.  No electronics, but it has a nice high back seat and 2 forward flush mounts.  If your buddy lives in the Sac area he can try it out this week.

It is the kayak in my profile pic.

A fully rigged OK Caper Angler with a FF, battery in waterproof case, two forward ram mounts and two rear facing flush mounted rod holders.  Sufficiently stable to standup on it and cast (yes I've done that) while light and compact for those tough portages at limekiln and mill creek.  hatch cat bag and some other goodies.

But wait, there's more!  Its not yellow - its orange.

And, if you pm within the next 20 minutes (b/c you know this offer can't last all day), he'll get an aqua-bound seaclude paddle and OK seat, at no additional charge (just pay separate S & H lol)
