OPS in Oakland is closing

Bummer this was a cool shop! I heard they're closing because the bldg owners are losing it to the bank...sucks.
Everything is 20% off starting today. It's gonna shut down by the end of Sept. but hopefully they find a new place to setup shop.

That sucks!  OPS is the best stocked tackle shop in my area.

Bummer for you southern boys. As I sit here at my desk I can almost throw a rock and hit the Cotati OPS store....lucky.....unlucky me!

That must be why I was told they aren't taking special orders right now!
This is terrible news, the only place in oakland with evrything at one stop, including big hammers!

That is a huge bummer... I should have stocked up on BH when I was there last week... Hopefully the have stuff left on wed. Does anyone know when the last day is?

Horrible news!  This is the only place in the East Bay that really has a good selection of just about everything.  There's a Dick's sporting goods coming to Livermore soon but I'm not sure what they're like for fishing stuff.  We're gonna be left with nothing but Big 5 and Walmart.  Two bad choices!

This f@#$%'n sucks biggtime, allways had a great experience there, allways had what I was looking for. Sometimes i just went there to bull shit with the guys working there, they are the best.  They have told me several times upon walking through the door that I have to go back to my truck to bring my dog in,

This place is by far the best place to buy tackle in the East Bay. Hopefully I can find some time this week to stop by and stock up.

Is OPS an acronym for something?
